Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

The Redeemer Women of the ELCA curently has three circles, and has been one of the most active of our church ministries from the time of its inception in 1965 to the present. Activities and organizations the group sponsors and supports include:
- Food to shut-ins
- Supporting migrant workers
- Annual spiritual retreats
- Altar care
- The Chrismon Tree
- Lowman Home (visits, gifts, annual luncheon, resident adoptions)
- Church Women United (inter-denominational Christian women's group)
- Newberry College
- Seminary Auxiliary
- Lutheridge
- Annual Mother-Daughter-Friend Luncheon
- Palmetto Place Children's Emergency Shelter
- Women's Shelter
- Sister Care
- Lutheran Family Services of the Carolinas
- Refreshments for the Sunday coffee hour
- LTSS scholarships
Redeemer's WELCA continue to support the SC Synod of the WELCA and the churchwide organization of the WELCA with their monthly contributions.
