Instruments at Redeemer

Handbells and Choir Chimes

Our Handbell and Chime choirs play on 5 octaves of Malmark Handbells and 5 octaves of Malmark choir chimes.

Pianos

We have many fine pianos from Essex, Yamaha, Kawaii and Baldwin available for use in our building.  Our most recent addition (2007) is a brand new 5'9" Steinway-designed and built Essex Baby Grand piano for use our music suite.  The piano was a gift from the estate of Mrs Edna Corley, a long-time choir member, and is used not only as a rehearsal and teaching instrument, but also for small recitals.

Pipe Organ

Our 18 rank Fritzche pipe organ was installed when our present sanctuary was built in 1978.  The Swell division is a rebuilt Moeller unit organ and has that wonderful warm Moeller sound. The Great and Pedal divisions were designed and voiced specifially for Redeemer.  We recently began work to stabilize the wind system and revoice the instrument(July 2008).  Plans are also under consideration for renovating, expanding and rebuilding the organ in the future.
